OEM-Agnostic Hardware for Road Environments

Each truck is fitted with a rugged Roadgaze Data Device (RDD) that handles all onboard processing, event validation, and communications. The system is fully OEM-agnostic and can be installed on any truck make or model without modification to the vehicle.

With edge computing capabilities, data is cached locally for extended periods, ensuring reliable location histories and event records are preserved even through extended periods of poor or no connectivity. The moment the truck re-enters coverage, all cached data is synchronised to the cloud platform automatically.

Security Monitoring and Instant Alerts

When trucks carry high-value ore on public roads, visibility alone is not enough. Roadgaze monitors every trip against approved corridors, zones, and tipping areas - and triggers instant push notifications to designated stakeholders the moment a security event occurs.

Route deviation - any truck that leaves the approved road corridor is flagged in real time, with deviation location, timestamp, and duration recorded.
Unauthorised standstill - any truck stationary for longer than the defined threshold outside an approved stopping zone triggers an immediate alert.
Unapproved tipping - any bucket tip recorded outside a designated area generates an alert with GPS coordinate, truck identity, and timestamp.

Every security event is logged with a complete, tamper-evident record, creating an auditable trail for every trip completed.

Reports, Scheduling, and Push Notifications

Roadgaze includes a consolidated reporting suite covering both production and security outputs:

Production reports - trip counts, loading and tipping durations, fleet availability, utilisation, and per-truck performance summaries.
