OEM Hardware for Demanding Underground Environments

Each LHD and dump truck is equipped with a rugged in-cabin Trucktrak Data Device (TDD) that handles all onboard processing, event validation, and communications. Integrated antennas provide reliable GPS and mesh network connectivity underground. The system is designed to operate across all underground mining methods - tunneling, room & pillar, and portal extraction.


In areas without wireless infrastructure, Trucktrak automatically creates a vehicle-to-vehicle mesh network, ensuring reliable data transfer without dependence on Wi-Fi infrastructure. Advanced algorithms determine which vehicles are most likely to reach a surface connectivity zone, enabling intelligent data handoff and rapid synchronisation.


Additional sensors validate production events: onboard sensors detect and confirm loading and tipping events through vibration and inclination measurement. Operator ID, material selection, and dispatch interfaces provide additional control input directly from the cab. The system is fully developed in-house, with advanced diagnostics and remote support capabilities.

Fleet Overview - Fleet availability, key performance indicators, and individual machine status in a single view.
Production Summary - Load and haul data by loading area, tipping area, section, level, or machine - available at all times.
Ore Flow - Tracks material movement from source to destination underground, with full visibility by material type.
Productivity Insights - Cycle times, loading durations, and tipping durations presented in clear graphical and tabular summaries.

Telemetry, Reports, and Scheduling

Trucktrak collects telemetry alongside production and tracking data. AccuCAN, our proprietary device, extends onboard data capture to operator identification, fuel, and strain sensors. The reporting suite covers three categories:


Utilisation reports - Fleet availability, engine hours, trip counts, and travel summaries.
Tracking reports - Per-vehicle timelines and movement summaries.
Production reports - Detailed load data, hourly production, tally sheets, and call vs actual comparisons.

Automated report scheduling and push notifications are available through the self-service platform.

Connect Trucktrak to your mine planning system via API to enable real-time compliance monitoring. Track actual underground production against plan targets in-shift, generate call vs actual reports, and close the gap between scheduled and delivered tonnage.

Dispatch

Operator dispatching, material selection, and in-cab dispatch interfaces give your control room real-time authority over machine assignments and loading destinations underground, enabling short-interval control and reducing idle time.

Digital Forms & Workflow Service

Replace paper-based processes with structured digital forms and automated workflows. Capture pre-shift inspections, defect reports, and compliance checklists directly from the cab or control room, with automatic routing to relevant personnel and escalation paths.

TMM Payloads

Link OEM or aftermarket payload measurement systems directly into Trucktrak production data. Accurate per-load tonnage is automatically associated with trip records, enabling precise production reporting and eliminating manual weighbridge reconciliation.

RTLS - Real-Time Location System

The positioning beacons installed throughout your operation to locate machines can be upgraded to PoE RTLS anchors, significantly reducing location update latency and improving tracking accuracy across your underground operation.
